This is an alert from my avast that went on while I was browsing...
Any idea why this happened?
I looked up at infura.io and they seem legit
I never heard of it before though so someone might know it and maybe it is a false flag or something since most anti-viruses go crazy with crypto...kinda like the governments nowadays lol
I think it is a false flag thought the API is kinda weird to see since I never set any...

I also saw the warning message today. I installed a metamask Chrome browser extension a few days ago. I'm not doing anything else with Ethereum, so maybe that's the source of the warning?
Edit: response from Infura:
"Thanks for remaining vigilant! We investigated and believe this to be a false positive by @avast_antivirus. We have reported it and are waiting to hear back from their team. We will share any updates as we get them."
