Some people say that every time you buy a STEEM a fairy gets a tiara.
STEEM is low, and while it is a good time to buy, it's also a good time to meet up and make friends, the community is abuzz with all sorts of exerienced people who have something valuable to say.
Saying things is kind of what STEEM is all about, but voice chat is not available, that's where Discord comes in, discord is a voice chat app where people from around the world can meet up, and they do!
Your voice means something, you should not just be able to talk with other people but you should get rewarded for it too.
That's why we're launching our new alpha service on steemPunks, angelsands.
Over at the steemPunks discord we've been hard at work setting up a process through which your voice chats can be aired online, voted for, and you can receive your share of the conversation.
If you hop on to the angelsands voice chat on discord it will measure how much time you spend talking, and give you your share of that conversation when the stream of it pays out a week later.
Because the time on angelsands is incentivised, we expect this to soon bubble into an environment where people compete to fill the space, be an early adopter and come and invade the space at steemPunks, we're happy to mod early birds. ;)
The SBD payouts for all the streams will be divided by the share of the voice users activity, if you occupied 20% of the vocal space, you'll get 20% of that hour's rewards.

If you want to register your steem account to receive your share of the payouts when you talk, you simply type .register at steemPunks and send a memo with the generated code to @schoolofminnows, and the system will remember to send your share of the proceeds to your steemit account.
