Thank you for this post. I am new to steemit and this post helped me to understand the inner workings a little better. I had a look at your google sheet and have an idea how to make it better. The ratio of how much goes to the author and curators changes (just have a look at some of your other posts), so you should ask people to enter those amounts and not the total.
