Famous financial guru is launching an exchange of cryptos

Lately on the web, the mainstream media has highlighted an individual named James Altucher, an american author, hedge fund manager, podcaster and financial trader. Today, Altucher has followed the trend of the Bitcoin phenomenon and some people call it the "crypto-coin guru". This week, public records show that Altucher and his colleagues plan to raise $10 million to launch a digital asset trading platform.

It's hard not to notice James Altucher as his photo with his eccentric hair, and his commentary on finance, is all over the web. These days, Altucher's words are tied to the subject of encryption. Altucher has been around the financial circuit for some time as a well-known author, entrepreneur, and he is sometimes called a "guru." This week it was revealed in a statement from the US Securities and Exchange Commission that Altucher is supporting a company called Bitzumi, Inc., which plans to launch a bitcoin exchange.

"Bitzumi is an integrated exchange to the Bitcoin market vertically. Our mission is to drive growth for the crypto-coins industry - we plan to launch our business divisions in a phased approach", the company's SEC filing on January 4 explains.

Initially, our main focus will be to develop a publishing and marketing company to educate potential Bitzumi exchange / portfolio consumers and to get name recognition - Ultimately, we want our primary product to be our exchange of crypto-coins and digital storage - We too We plan to develop various educational and information products and newsletters focused on the cryptomoedas industry.

The exchange will be fully regulated working with US officials from Fincen, SEC, CFTC and the IRS. The venture appears to be heavily dependent on Altucher's support and its newsletter, but Bitzumi will be led by chief executive officer Scot Cohen, an executive involved with oil and gas entities. Becoming a business involved with popular digital currencies, Bitzumi aims to be positioned as an "emerging growth company" that the statement emphasizes.
