I just discovered this old video clip of John Bollinger (@bbands), inventor of Bollinger Bands, discussing trading bands and the fractal nature of markets. I'm really fascinated by the strategies Bollinger suggests and the simplicity of some of these methods for pattern identification.

I'm about to embark on an exploration of ProfitTrailer on Binance, so please follow along and let me know what you think are the most effective strategies for identifying opportunities in the market. ProfitTrailer is a bot trading tool which integrates with Poloniex, Binance, and Bittrex. A license for each exchange is presently priced at 0.03 BTC. So, all three exchanges would cost 0.09 BTC. I'm just using it with Binance for now. So grab that license if you want to follow exactly what I'll be doing.

Compound Daily is an amazing calculator to explore. Take a look at what happens when you assume a $100 initial investment earning 1.5% interest per day for 365 days:

What happens when we make the same assumptions with a $1,000 initial investment?

What happens when we make the same assumptions with a $5,000 initial investment?

1.5% daily returns reinvesting 100% of earnings for 1 year will produce insane growth!

$100 to $22,814

$1,000 to $228,138

$5,000 to $1,140,712

$10,000 to $2,281,420

But what would 3% do? I'm going to assume an initial investment of only $500.

So, $500 earning 3% per day for 1 year produces 10 times more than $10,000 earning 1.5% per day for 1 year.
