2FA work logic is quite simple. You will need to install the application on your smartphone and activate it on the site you want to use. After doing this, you will now be prompted to enter the password generated by Google Authenticator on your phone each time you log in with your username and password on the site. The system is similar to the SMS security system you use for banking transactions.
