Traditional DEX vs On-Chain CEX: A User's Perspective

in crypto •  2 months ago

Been deep in the trenches of traditional DEXs swapping for almost 2 years now, and I’ve come to realize that unless you’re glued to your screen 24/7, you’re basically playing crypto whack-a-mole. One slip-up... slippage, gas spikes, and you’re toasted.

So you learn to treat every trade like defusing a bomb: triple-check contracts, monitor memepools, pray that you paid attention when setting up…

Then about a month ago, an Asian KOL on X space dropped a tip about a new DEX-like product, Bitget On-Chain and after using it for a while i can say it is like a cross between a CEX’s instant execution and a DEX’s transparency.

I didnt need to juggle multiple wallets or secure seed phrase; you just log in, deposit in your spot, and you can buy and sell.

I was skeptical, but decided to test it with a small amount and at around 12am ish UTC there was a new listing of REMUS an i bought. After about 7 hours i sold and i got over 1000+%!!!

Of course, the community had mixed takes. But for newbies it’s going to be addictive because of its simplicity. and some were already trading $USELESS token

Anyone else given On-Chain product a shot?

Curious to hear if you’ve found any better strategies and setups for these platform!
