Top 5 alt coins 2018

Hey friends!.
I have made money during my time in the crypto game, and have spent countless hours doing research which I would love to share with others. With that, I want to talk about MY top 5 alt coins for a long-term 2018 investment. (Obviously, this is not financial advice, and only invest what you can afford to lose)

1. NEO

Neo will potentially be the strongest coin of 2018. The "Chinese Etherium" as some call it, has already seen expedential growth, making a lot of money for a lot of people. Essentially, NEO tries to accomplish what Etherium does, only on a larger scale. This does mean though, that in the form of Etherium, NEO has some pretty tough competition, and certainly a con amongst many pros for NEO.
Price prediction for end of 2018- $350

1. Icon (ICX)

From the "Chinese Etherium" to the "Korean Etherium". Icon is a platform which aims to connect all blockchains together. It's an extremely ambitious project, but an idea which could make investors A LOT of money. I have a heavy bag of ICX at the time of writing this, as on the 31st of January, ICON will be hosting there first annual summit, being held in Korea. The catch here is that ICX is not yet available on any Korean exchanges, a country which notoriously show pride in the achievements of their countrymen and women. If you think ICON will host there summit in Korea, promoting there product, and then say "oh yeah, but you still can't buy it here", then you are sadly mistaken.

Prediction for end of 2018- $80-$100

1. VeChain (VEN)

My most recent purchase. Admittedly, I slept on this project for far too long.
VeChain combines blockchain technology with transparency, ensuring all blockchain users ID's are secure. The strength of VeChain is that it has already secured strong partnerships, so it has support from multi million dollar enterprises.
I put VeChain in the same category as ICON, as in I am extremely confident in its growth.

Price prediction for end of 2018- $50

1. AION

AION is very similar to ICON as in it's main purpose it to connect blockchains. The kicker here is that is potentially has the better product, and is currently quite a bit cheaper than ICON!.
AION claims to be blockchain 3.0, an upgrade from bitcoin (1.0) and Etherium (2.0). Whether it is or not is yet to be determined, but if it is able to accomplish half of what it promises, then this coin is disgustingly undervalued.

Price prediction for end of 2018- $50 (conservative)

1. Ethereum

Boring, I know. But I feel that untill its competitors can establish their product as well as ethereum has, then it will have no problems rising in price (for 2018 at least). Many coins have been called the "ethereum killer" in the past, but they have all fallen under the power of the number 1 altcoin.

Price prediction for end of 2018- $2200
