I'm 33. Father of a now 14 month old daughter. She just took her first few steps.
As did I in the first half of December. I invested a 100 euro in Verge (XVG). While is was just a penny. Within two weeks I was hooked and addicted.
Spending 14 hours a day learning the hard way of crypto money loosing and winning. The addiction was set. I knew what a sell and buy wall was. How a FUD works, when to buy low and sell high.
My addiction didn't get unnoticed. My wife was already giving me the signals within the first week. I didn't listen. She gave clearer signals in the second. But just before Christmas. She exploded.
'You only think about money nowadays!" she replied at my excuses more than often. I responded angry.
I was lying to myself:
"We need the money for the kid's education"
"We can pay off more of our mortgage"
"Sooner or later you'll thank me.
It was the moment my daughter was was in bed crying and I let her, that I figured out it was irresponsible. Sometimes its good to wait when the little starts crying. Don't rush to her at any moment. But there was a thought that crossed my mind which scared me:.
"Just finishing this and maybe after she will go back to sleep by herself again".
It was ridiculous.
Just like drinking responsibly: trade crypto responsibly. The money is nice, but truly not the most important in the world.
As for my wife: What a woman!
Thanks!
Christmast was awesome!
