He must have been using Bitcoin because it took so long to confirm the transaction. Next time use Dash or Bitcoin Cash.

    I transferred some Steem from yesterday from Bittrex to my steemit account using blocktrades.us and it took approx. 45 seconds to complete. A few moments latter I tried to transfer some BTC from coinbase.com to my steemit account still through blocktrades.us and it took 29 minutes!
