Read an interesting article (below) this morning on how cryptocurrency inheritance will work. Not gonna lie for all the thought i've put into the crypto space I never once thought about the inheritance problem. Not only is it a problem for families of crypto investors who might unfortunately meet an untimely end. If loved ones are unaware of how/where the crypto was stored and what the private keys are, a deceased investors coins could and would be lost forever. Interesting that no one has really come up with a solution for this issue other than centralized custodial services that hold your private keys but that defeats the entire purpose of cryptocurrency. Seems like a pretty big opportunity for a project who can figure out a way to solve this issue.
