Botcrypto : standalone crypto trading

Let me introduce you the project that we are working on with friends for several months now: botcrypto.io

We started out of necessity. We simply didn't find a user-friendly platform to trade cryptocurrencies. Our experience was that we had to face poor trading interfaces and starting to trade from scratch, proofed to be… challenging. And so, our journey began.

We wrote standalone bots for the Kraken platform (Jully 2017) with the purpose of trading cryptocurrencies. Very soon, using our bots brought us positive results. So, we decided to build a web service to run bots with the goal of bringing our experience to our friends and help them trade quickly and efficiently. What

botcrypto.io goal is to provide the best trading service for users to trade cryptocurrencies. Our service works as a plugin upon an API of a cryptocurrency broker platform you use. This allows you to use a strategy, YOUR STRATEGY and setup a trading bot according to your strategy. Everything is clear, 100% transparent and fully customizable. This challenge is what we fight for every day!

How

With botcrypto.io you may create your strategy and simulate it on a market with real current market data. To engage funds however, an account on a crypto broker platform is required. Although for now only the option using Kraken platform is available, Binance platform will be available soon. After you decided to follow your strategy and engage with real funds, you share your API keys, that are safely stored separately online/offline, with your trading bot. In the next step the bot you created does your work and trade for you. We only provide you with our tools to trade efficiently and easily, automating the trading process for you.
Up to this day, we do 3 types of API calls: check the balance information, add an order, check the order status. Furthermore, every order type is "market” to avoid any dramatical user loss.
Trading is also about learning; therefore we maintain a blog https://blog.botcrypto.io (for now in French only) with resources regarding trading for you to learn the basics.

Next

We improve botcrypto.io every day thanks to your feedbacks and we want to keep our service for free as long as possible. Unfortunately, it requires more and more hardware resources and it is very time consuming. For now, we use a donation system. If it won’t be enough, we will need to restrict the access.
