Now I get this all. Before I use think the reason why Facebook had to ban the Marketing /Advertisement of cryptos was because it is envious of the growth and divert of the attention of many Facebook users.

But now I got the logic.

I was surprise when saw that image below.

IMG-20180201-WA0005.jpg

lol.

we wish!

Haha, funny.

Sounds like they are afraid of something, like Steem perhaps.

Over the years I've seen plenty of crap advertised there, unrelated to crypto but it still got through the net.

Is this ban an effort to reduce publicity for social media alternatives. Can we advertise Steemit and not STEEM? hmm

Facebook needs to be renamed as FascistBook.

a very inspiring writing, good job master. Thank you for providing us with useful information. And what are your steps in getting through this problem, have you prepared a suitable way to end this problem?

Here also I have written a little about the tricks to make Source. Source

Facebook is like the necessary evil of Social Media... it’s reign is temporary though... hopefully.

i look forward to part 2. i have mixed feelings about facebook

He don’t need them and we are way better off without them. People are crazy in this world , and there are really bad people out there . Just like how the Bitconnect scam happened

Yep. Forgot to reference that - a great example...

Definitely. People have to realize there are a lot of really terrible people who can really easily exploit these ad services to spread bad information or untrustworthy businesses. This whole thing with Russia using them in the same way has really gotten tech companies wary thinking of the possibilities of their services being used this way. Thanks for the share, mate!

New ICO? Oh I must throw in my BTC ETH so multiply them! The mass user be like.

When I initially read the article for facebook I had an optimistic view on it.

Like you said, there's a lot of opportunity to scam people and the coins that are worth it don't inherently need such ads, that can be done through word of mouth.

The main point which I've brought from it is that at least Facebook has put their foot down. They could have also speculated or spent some time figuring out the finer details of the ban, however all that time trying to do so means more time for malicious ads to be put up and clicked on; hence more gullible people being scammed.

One thing I could note for marketers (depending on the policies for referral) is losing out on potential referral earnings. I recall a post on reddit where a guy cleverly put through his referral link for lyft on google ads, so when others signed up he reaped the benefits as well. Something similar can be done here.

In the end, through careful revision they may come up with rules which may or may not be detrimental to cryptocurrency, but from here we just can't tell.

Well, i think Facebook might have experienced a humiliation of some people being scam through the advert they saw on Facebook. I think place a ban on crypto marketing might not fully resolved the issue of many people being scam through Facebook but there should be high level of security check before marketing of anything through Facebook which crypto is inclusive in order to protect its image and to protect people from being scam.
I know the real cryptocurrency will not make much noise before attracting people to invest in them

That's right, I really agree with you, maybe it's better that they do not banned crypto advertising right away, it's just that they have to investigate the strong adamence of advertising, keep the image also should not then weaken one party, a good analysis @funkylove

Hey, don't forget that the crypto ads are being paid for by Facebook users & its board members are crypto-backers too. Thanks for the info, @rok-sivante.

Stay alert! Facebook Bans Cryptocurrency Ads

Agreed, Lets at least hope it will decrease the scam rates as many new investors sure is found there, easiest targets I guess.

The news about facebook banning crypto adds will sure reach many, so it´s a bit of free publicity for the crypto space, initially hehe, staying positive here :)

it´s a bit of free publicity for the crypto space...

Good point! :-)

very helpful information, thank you best friend steemit

I wonder if Facebook thinks of Steemit as a threat. Ive only been on here for 10 days and I see the potential. I’ve barely checked Facebook since I’ve started. If people learn about cryptos they’re bound to learn about Steemit...

You are right on point on the look at the other side of the story. Even here, I remember how the community fought craig-grant from spreading the bitconnect gospel. Great ICOs do not need to market their ICOs on every social media. The proof of the pudding is always in the eating:)
So, I entirely agree with the idea that it could be a good thing since there are more gullible uninformed newbies on that place. Or it could just be another way to pave the way for their own. But the overall impact is a good one for ICOs and cryptocurrency in the long run at the end of the day. I always like to hear a balanced view of things and listen to both sides of the story before concluding. Thank you.

yep.

your welcome. :-)

To me, I just think something's wrong. A few weeks ago, or maybe last year he supported cryptos and just last week he banned cryptos from advertising on facebook. Hmmm.. That doesn't sound right. Let's see as the situation unfolds....

you're thinking in black and white.

supporting crypto does NOT equate to allowing any shitcoin ICO scam market on your platform. far from it.

if anything, such a move might be MORE supportive - helping to serve squeeze the manipulative shit out of the space, which does more good for the movement in the end.

For scam ICO, I think I understand. At least I understand the word scam there. As to the ICO thing, I don't do it or let me just check it out myself.

This is true though, facebook would eventually be mentioned if such happens. I think you were mentioned when your username was used to scam on steemit chat.

It's same... True!!

It's a noble sentiment but I still find myself thinking that Facebook could have done a little bit of diligence on their advertisers and had some minimum requirements for them to meet. I mean you don't see Nigerian Princes advertising or any Murder for Hire type banners. So, yes they should care who is advertising through them but maybe not be so lazy and draconian.

I hope this new became true.

I heard it is just for preventing scam. By the way, have you heard Dan would develope somthing like a steemit on EOS?

This news became trending at the end of january, I also have read it through already national news in Indonesia.

So,....!!!!

But if you still receive active income and do not have passive income along with allowance of passive budget, then my suggestion, it's good you play capital market like forex or commodity.

If you ask me if this Facebook ban will impact the Crypto movement, then I say it will have "little effect" on the player, but it will not affect Crypto's digital currency.

I do not think their reason makes sense, maybe this is one of the ways in which they deal with the problems of their economic exchanges. "they also say that crypto has an impact on fraud and crime, hahah, what nonsense", I even strongly agree with your opinion, distemely we do it all right, anti spam and scam, no way to commit fraud, and crypto is an award to overcome the difficulties of even the poverty of the world economy.

happy to follow you, we wait for your next analysis post, good luck @rok-sivante, thank you for sharing.

Good luck master.... And have a nice day.

a very interesting post. be an inspiration to youth like me.

Advancement in all ways

"Let's face it: the real, quality projects in crypto do not require extensive hype and marketing."

Fuck yeah.

You seen those little "Related articles" below news media websites? They're not related news.

They're all affiliate links to shitty, scammy products. So yeah, you're right. I agree with that Facebook will help clam down on all this bullshit.

Oh and in the SocialX telegram, someone bitched that SocialX had no coverage.

The reply from the staff, "What? Pay to get listed on shitty wesbites that don't offer anything real?"

Boom.
