A long time ago, someone invented the bicycle. It had a large wheel in the front and a smaller wheel in the back. The rider sat over the larger wheel. It was fun at first until someone realized it needed brakes. When brakes were invented, it seemed like a great idea, except, that if a rider tried to stop too suddenly, they would flip over the handlebars. Making both wheels the same size and seating the rider between them solved the problem. As the bicycle gained popularity, people needed to carry things with them when they traveled so a bicycle basket was added. After that, they added a headlight to the front so people could ride at night. Then came bicycle helmets, carbon fiber, bicycle apparel and everything we have today.
This is happening today in the world of cryptocurrency. First, coins were created, then smart contracts, then people needed faster transaction times and so on. You get the point. Cryptocurrency is being invented and improved as we speak. Tolar is a new crypto coin which has studied all the successes and failures of the models that came before it and is designing their coin with the best innovations of each.
Imagine if you could travel back to the 1800's with all the knowledge of bicycles you have today and start from scratch. Instead of a heavy cumbersome bicycle made of metal and wood, it would be light and fast. It would handle like a dream, and the parts would be upgradable. This is Tolar's plan. They can't travel back in time, but they can start from scratch and design a coin that does all the things a modern coin does, plus all the things we now know it needs to do.
Tolar recently achieved a TPS speed of 150,000 Transfers Per Second. You can see the video on their website. 2000,000 transfers per second are their goal. This is something Etherium can't do, yet, but they're working on it. Tolar achieves these remarkable results with the use of their proprietary HashNET algorithm. HashNET is fast, fair, secure, and scalable. It's too complicated to explain in this article, but all the technical information can be found on Tolar's Whitelist. Please give it a read.
Magnus Concilium is Tolar's version of governance and will allow investors and stakeholders to vote on proposed ways to improve the coin and shape the direction of the project.
Tolar is in the middle of their pre-sale until the end of August. The ICO begins September 15, 2018. I'm sorry but USA and China are not eligible to take part. Listing on major exchanges is scheduled to occur after the ICO ends. Tolar plans to release a mobile wallet in the 4th quarter of 2018. They have more major events scheduled for 2019. Please refer to the Tolar website for the official roadmap.
