There are a number of different ways that scammers will try to get your cryptocurrency, this is only one example that hopefully will point out some of the things to watch out for.
Website Quality
Scammers typically won’t spend allot of time designing their websites so you will see a lack of content, poor grammar and spelling, lack of navigation links and lack of support/contact links and videos without audio. Keep in mind these aren’t the only things to lookout for but they are probably the most prevalent things I’ve encountered while researching for this article.
Navigation (or the Lack Of ...)
Poor Grammar and Punctuation
Fake Transactions
Videos with no audio (While this isn't the most compelling red-flag, it should caution you to look closer)
Fake and/or Repetitive Chat content
Of course keep in mind that these are only some of the things that I found to be suspect during my research for this article. I encourage you to use due diligence before making any decisions to use any site regardless of their legitimacy.
