From 16th to 17th of June we were attending the Conference of „Internet of People - IoP“ and it’s related projects in Berlin.

We met a bunch of interesting people and had the opportunity to learn a bit more about the IoP or Libertaria Projects, the vision of Libertaria as we gained some knowledge on how their staked projects will work hand in hand.

Liberatria contains 3 key projects, focussing on different aspects of the Network
.
First there is the Mercury Protocol set: a social graph that makes it actually possible to run nodes or dApps in the network and delivers secure P2P communication. Second, there is the Titania Project that delivers easy to use network gateways to set up nodes in s uncomplicated way, even for people with little technical knowledge. It will connect to smartphones and computers and make it possible to use the network even with elderly devices, too. Last but not least there is the Hydra Network, which is currently being built. It aims to be a new approach to Blockchain 3.0. Hydra is a next generation MERKLE-DAG and multichain protocol that allows the usage of parent and child chains.

That would make it very beneficial for smart cities, for example to run a child chain for traffic, one for energy, one for housing management and so on
The interaction with Titania and the Mercury Protocol would also make it possible to store a lot of data outside the chain itself.

All in all a very interesting Project that we’ll keep an eye on to maybe build our Tropitoken – Urban Blockchain Society Infrastructure on it.

We wish them a bright future and a lot of successful to fulfil their plans.
