CoinMarketCap has removed Korean Exchanges from their price averages.

This move has made it look like that several cryptos are crashing even though nothing actually was altered. They did not give any warning or anything. They did this change at Sunday midnight, but didn't publicize until midday on Monday.

According to their view point “extreme divergence in prices from the rest of the world and limited arbitrage opportunity.”

This morning we excluded some Korean exchanges in price calculations due to the extreme divergence in prices from the rest of the world and limited arbitrage opportunity. We are working on better tools to provide users with the averages that are most relevant to them.

This led to sharp drop in prices of all major cryptocurrencies.

This has made several people furious for not giving any notification before actually doing so.

I agree, they should have added a weighted algorithm to keep the data but adjust it based on location of visitor maybe. It's a big source of confusion for beginners.
