So, I'm a beginner when it comes to cryptocurrencies. So, I decided to play around with exchanges and trade a little money. While doing this - I learn by doing - I read something hear and there about exchanges. I saw a post on Steemit about Cryptopia. I was interested. I decided to send some Bitcoin(BTC) to the exchange and trade. I only sent $35 bucks...not a lot, but I'm not going to risk real money until I learn more.
So, I bought some currency on the exchange and lost money. My fault getting in at the wrong time. My excitement drove me. I didn't care with the amount of money I was trading...who knows...maybe I can hit the jackpot! Right? Well in the process of buy, it was so confusing. I could not enter the right amounts and the program kept changing the amount I entered.
Well I eventually figured it out, and had some fun in the process. And, I learned. So, I decided to take my money out and put it on my wallet. Well, guess what....? They want to charge me $45 to take my money out! Outrageous scam!
Well, I suppose I will keep it in and keep trading....STAY CLEAR OF CRYPTOPIA!!!
Btc transaction fees have been skyrocketing but $45 definitely seems excessive.. You should be able to buy any other alt on there though and withdrawal it for just a few cents
