Some of the students were confused about the concept of curation. They mistake curation for upvotes.
Poor content writing and presentation are the major reasons some students score below average. But I believe they will effect these changes in the preceding tasks.
Some of the students were in a hurry to perform the homework task without a proper understanding of the topic. This led to the production of poor-quality content.

- The participants showed a great understanding of Blockchain and Decentralisation. From the chart above, we have 39% of the students scoring above 9 and also 33% scoring above 6.
- The students who scored below average are due to poor presentation and inability to read the lesson properly before performing the task.

General Observation / Recommendations
- The number of engagements in the fixed tasks is reducing because we assumed that majority of the community subscribers have completed the Beginner’s course.
- The performance of the students was great. There was an average score of 7.72 with 33% of the participants scoring above 9.
- Some of the participants who scored below average are due to poor writing skills and inability to understand the lesson before performing the tasks. Students are encouraged to learn Markdown Basics to present their work neatly.
- There were 4 cases of plagiarism detected this week. Plagiarism is a great offense in Steemit platform and we will ensure that it is totally eliminated from the academy. We encourage everyone to produce quality content from plagiarism.
- Students are also encouraged to proofread their work and check for grammatical errors as this can reduce their grades. Grammarly can be helpful to check grammatical errors.
