Crypto Africa is the name I choose for my post of Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrency adoption across Africa.

Today, I write about a Bitcoin ATM being installed in Goborone, Botswana.

Express mind limited, a blockchain start up has put in place a Bitcoin ATM in Goborone, Botswana. This ATM would permit fiat-to-crypto exchange and is the 10th Bitcoin ATM installed in Africa.

This one-way Bitcoin ATM can handle up to a daily transaction limit of BWP50,000 (about $5,000) at the moment.

Botswana currently has no regulations towards cryptocurrency and it is still unclear what the government decisions would be. Express Minds is simply taking advantage of this situation to promote cryptocurrency adoption in Botswana.

Although the story of bitcoin ATMs in Africa is not encouraging, express Minds is optimistic about its success in improving cryptocurrency adoption in Botswana.

Personally, I think bitcoin adoption in Botswana will give room for other cryptocurrencies like STEEM to easily penetrate the country.
