Crypto Africa is the name I choose for my post of Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrency adoption across Africa.
On today's edition, I write about Ethiopia employing Blockchain technology to monitor the supply chain of coffee in the country.

Blockchain initiative, Moyee is set to employ Blockchain technology to provide transparency in the supply chain of coffee in Uganda as well as improve coffee farmers incentives.
Some Facts
Coffee is said to be the world's favorite drink. Over 2 billion cups of coffee are drunk everyday. The coffee industry is a huge one and estimated to be worth over 100 billion dollars. Yet, over 90% of coffee farmers in Ethiopia cannot afford to over 2 dollars a day.
Providing transparency with Blockchain technology will allow buyers access how much each farmer is paid and this will improve the livelihood of farmers.
According it Moyee Blockchain technology will allow buyers to tip, give out loans and grants to farmers, provide advanced payments and even fund projects of farmers.
This is great move towards adopting Blockchain technology in the country.
