Setting my art on fire

This week I created a new drawing using my dip pen and drawing inks, I then used a blow torch to set it on fire. I recorded both the creating process and the destruction process, and made this into two pieces of crypto art. I then tokenized these on the ethereum blockchain, you can find them on SuperRare.

The drawing no longer exists, it has been destroyed by fire, but the tokens do.

About SuperRare

How does it work for artists?

When you add a digital asset (like an image or gif), a token is generated by SuperRare smart contracts and deposited in your Ethereum wallet. The token is permanently linked to the artwork, and is a unique, one-of-a-kind crypto-asset that represents ownership and authenticity of the underlying artwork. The artwork then starts its new life on the blockchain, where a fan or collector can purchase it, and where it can be subsequently traded or held by collectors like any other rare artifact.

Oh fun with a blowtorch! I love that. In my printmaking days I'd sometimes use burning to make a new pattern to print on. have fun with it, but be careful !

It's just a little one that I use for metal working, but yes it can kick out the heat.

This is pretty dope.

Thank you @billykeed!

I just love your art. Thanks so much for sharing :)

Thank you, I enjoy showing my creations on Steemit :D
