Welcome to the 38th weekly installment of my series on Steemit income and growth!
Income on Steemit is generated by "investment" (the more Steem you have, the more you earn) and by "work" (earning Steem by contributing content that adds value). Already having invested my savings in Steem, I'm now working by uploading unique valuable content to the blockchain. My first goal is to increase my average weekly income to 15 Steem.
Calculating weekly income
Considering income from accounts that I own, that my wife owns, and accounts started as group projects with my funds (currently @drutter, @medikatie, @greatesteem, @hempy, @girlsofgreen, and @sativazeee), here's the running tally:

It was an average week for payouts, bring us 8 more Steem for a team total of 1204. All together, we're about one quarter of a "Dolphin"! (It's not all about money. We're here to have our voice heard, and that's still sort of happening.)
STEEM is up to 25 cents
STEEM has recovered from 23 cents on Friday. It is down over 97.5% this year.
It has slid from the 16th largest crypto to the 52nd largest.
Steem (priced in USD) was only cheaper during one period in its 2.5 year history - between late October 2016 and April 2017.
Steem (priced in BTC) was only this cheap on 5 other days - March 10th 11th 12th 15th & 16th 2017.
No matter how bloody it is in the streets now, it could get even bloodier.
The price of STEEM affects growth on the site. The price could go lower. In other words, growth and income could fall even further.
That's my 2 cents. Literally. My full upvote is barely worth 2 cents now.

Ahhhh, it's great to be back up at 25 cents again! I was starting to get depressed about the STEEM price there, for a while. Now it's TO THE MOON!

Wasn't long ago my full upvote was two cents at almost 300 SP. It's back to the writing board with the glass being 25% full. I was considering dumping my remaining Bitcoin into Steem. Thanks for your thoughts.
