Would Cryptocurrencies Have Any Value If They Couldn't Be Exchanged For Fiat Money?

As much as I love cryptocurrencies and believe they will play a huge role in the future of financial transactions the world over, I do wonder just how valuable cryptos would be if they couldn't be exchanged to fiat currency?

If the answer is zero then unfortunately governments the world over could put an end to cryptocurrencies by simply outlawing the exchange of cryptos to fiat.

Think were getting exposed to crypto's for a reason. Old system should have went down in 08 there running out of duct tape to patch this. Do i think the coins available are overvalued yes, do I think they could go to $0 yes. This being said I think crypto's have a way better chance of lasting then fiat currencies.

yes i agree
