Yes you are right, Expedia collaborated with Coinbase to accept bitcoin payments.
Big names like Overstock.com, Dish Network and Newegg have also started accepting bitcoins, other than that, multiple shopify stores allow bitcoin payments.

So the reach of crypto currencies is surely on the rise.
