BitConnect and Associates being Sued

in cryptocurrencies •  7 years ago

I made a post a few days ago informing new comers to crypto currencies as well as a refresher on Ponzi Schemes in this new an exciting era we are in. Sadly with great opportunity comes those who will take advantage in devious ways. BitConnect is in its second law suit except this law suit is being filed by six BitConnect investors instead of one for a total of $700,000 dollars lost by these six investors. BitConnect as I said before had a market cap of $2.5 billion before it began it's almost 5 day exiting strategy with Bitcoin as well as it's shut down of lending and referrals leaving it's investors with the 90% devalued BitConnect Coins. The Law suit was filed out of U.S. District Court in West Palm Beach, Florida. For those of you who enjoy analyzing legal processes you can check the allegations here (https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/4359810-BitConnect-Class-Action-Lawsuit.html). It basically outlines that BitConnect was promising up to 40% interest monthly on BitConnect Coin holdings and was promoting through channels of those named in the law suit which lured unsuspecting investors. This is definitely a law suit to keep up with because this is going to open up the flood gates on BitConnect as well as other lending platforms based around the same scheme. Keep in mind this is only $700,000 totalled from just six investors while BitConnect had a market cap of $2.5 billion with over 1.5 million users worldwide. I hope that this will be resolved and somehow those who invested may be compensated. This is sad but good news at the same time to teach us to be more aware as well as be a warning to those who are operating Ponzi Scheme lending platforms. May peace be with all and "hodl" those Crypto Currencies! ✌❤

Just a few named associates being sued Trevon Brown aka Trevon James, CryptoNick, Craig Grant, Ryan Hildreth, Glenn Arcaro

It's a good start. They made the most referrals, most responsible for keeping the ponzi going.

I agree man I feel as though they knew and when I saw Trevon riding around in his BMW with his hood up I knew he was on the run as well as Craig disappearing in thin air. Lol Karma is a son of a gun.

Nobody knows who Bitconnect is actually right? I mean the real team, not some youtubers jerks.

I don't think they do know but this civil law suit I hope reveals who they are. Right now the fall guys are in there place I feel.
