The SUI Foundation has recently released some key metrics that provide insight into the future of the SUI token. Based on this information, let's predict how much the market cap and listing price of the SUI token could be.
First, let's consider some important metrics. The total supply of SUI tokens is 10 billion, with an initial supply of approximately 185 million SUI tokens. This includes 6% for the community access program and app testers, 144 million for whitelisted users (3 CEXs), 450 million for public sales (7.7% unlocked at TGE), and 6 million for adding liquidity or surprise airdrops.
The specific numbers of tokens unlocked at Token Generation Event for community reserve, investors, early contributors, and the Mysten Lab treasury are currently unknown, so the estimated initial supply could range from 300 million to 400 million SUI tokens.
If the total initial supply is 185 million SUI tokens, then compared to similar tokens like APT, SUI could easily hold a price of $4 to $6 on listing day. However, if the initial supply is closer to 300 million SUI tokens, the price could be $1.5 to $2.5.
My realistic price prediction would be:
Bearish: $0.6- $0.8
Neutral: $0.8- $1.2
Bullish: $1.2- $1.5
Listing pump: $4- $6
These estimates suggest that there is good profit potential for both Allowlist winners and General Sales participant. However, it's important to note that this is a numerical opinion only and should not be considered investment advice as we are not aware of circulating supply, which will be announced closer to TGE. Always do your own research before investing.
