Giving money to posts that say "I like your post"

I'm curious why these comments seem to be getting steem money. On another site like reddit these would be immediately downvoted into oblivion.

I'm curious how you personally decide what types of content to decide to support/not support?

Steemit is a really interesting real world experiment into the mixing of crypto currencies and social media so I'm excited to hear all your thoughts.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
