Mining Electroneum on the Mobile App

Recently I downloaded the Electroneum Mobile (smartphone) App for mining and tested it out. I was a little unsure in the beginning if it actually worked, but I have since had enough personal experience to say that it certainly does.

What threw me when reading their website was that Electroneum said that the app provided the 'experience of mining, without actually mining' which made me think that this is a bit scammy, and it probably won't work.

Well, I was wrong. Yesterday I posted this article on Steemit to show that the app does work, and today I want to give you an update.

Here is my current mining 'pending balance'. This is from leaving my phone running on my home wifi connection with the mining app running in the background.

The thing I like about this is that at today's rate, the Electroneum I've mined in my phone during the night has cost me virtually nothing. I track my electricity consumption through the Power Shop app which when you use the link provided to download the app and set up an account, Power Shop will give you a $75.00 credit! Looking at the data below, you can see that it's held pretty stable with no real change.

The current ETN holdings from my mobile mining have a value of $3.90 US.

With Electroneum being dramatically down from its All Time High, this has the potential to see some impressive results in growth as the market lifts back up.
