If you have been following my posts, you'll know that I'm invested in SmartCash and have been on a wild ride already trying to get a SmartNode up. Well it turns out the ride's not over.

It turns out I and a large number of other node operators have not been paid yet.

A little math first:
Only one SmartNode will receive the reward from a block, and a block is processed every 55 seconds. The algorithm that determines which node gets the rewards is designed to select the node that's been waiting the longest. (This is a simplified explanation other users have done a better job explaining it HERE ) With 5,683 nodes and 55 seconds per block it would take (5,683 x 55) seconds or 3 days 14 hours 49 minutes 25 seconds for each node to get one payout. With my nodes place in line I assumed I would be rewarded today. Let's check the balance.

So we should have a solution in the next 48 hours. Like I said in my previous posts, these guys are great! They are quick to act to resolve any issues.

In the meantime you should bring out your good luck charms and hope you get picked.
