I don't think so.... youtube pays vloggers via ads and so customers do not have to pay...
lbry requires u to pay for videos... no one wants to pay to watch a cat video... the allure of youtube is that u can watch videos without paying..

I wish there was just a Steemit style YouTube alternative badly...

exactly my thinking, Let's hope LBRY succeeds.

True, but once ads get into LBRY get who shares the profits ? It won't be google.

but why would ppl go on there to watch content ?? when ppl can just use youtube.... vloggers get paid by ads on youtube so they can make videos dress...

pointless for ppl of this era to get wallet.. btc.. and a bunch of stuff to watch the same content they can watch h youtube.. only way lbry will work is if mainstream use it.. and with infringement stuff.. that is not going to happen either..

IF the best vbloggers get paid more on LBRY, in time they will flock there and the masses
will follow them.

LBRY is such a cool project. Beta version goes public in late July. You can request early access here https://lbry.io/get?r=XSEMI Don't miss out!
