- Have early access to energy auctions and be able to buy energy directly from producers at a discounted price and then sell it at the market price on the wepower platform, or use the energy. Wepower team estimates the potential profit to be up to 20% for #wpr token holders deciding to bid during the early access auctions.
- Earn cash for just holding the tokens, as each renewable energy provider that is listed and raise funds on the WPR platform will be required to donate 0.9% of total energy that will be produced to the token holders. Initially this does not seem much, however assuming they will reach their targets, on the 6th year of holding the tokens you could make as much as 0.33 eurocents for each token held (see below table, row 8). Not bad for a 2 cents investment?
