NEO
NEO is a blockchain platform and cryptocurrency which enables the development of digital assets and smart contracts.The project is based in China and was originally launched in 2014 as AntShares. NEO is currently around $150 and have its all time high at almost $200. Like Ethereum, NEO also has so-called smart contracts, but they call it instead of Smart Economy. Which in turn leads to the existence of tokens based on NEO's blockchain. NEO has a total supply of 100,000,000 NEO, which is almost the same as the Ethereum.
Why would people invest in NEO instead of Ethereum in that case?
Because the NEO is backed by the Chinese government, if China for any reason should ban crypto-deportation, they would ban everyone except the Chinese one. Then NEo would grow a lot and matbe hit the same privce as Ethereum. I bought some NEos a few months ago and will keep hodling!
It´s a good post. NEO will be one of the cryptos which will stay for long. As you said it has a good parachute: the Chinese government.
Don't forget about GAS with just less than 10M supply which is very low if finally GAS will be used for NEO platform. I am expecting an increase GAS price in bigger % than NEO.
Similar will happen with Steemit dollars in which we have seen a big jump in price last weeks.

NEO has been on fire the last few days. Its almost caught up to Litecoin. Looks like I currently am invested in the Wrong Crypto. NEW has really caught my eye. Its a strong one for sure.

Nice post man, if you like NEO you should definetely check on Nebulas it has huge potential - the founder from NEO are the founders at Nebulas and Nebulas wants to be a search engine for the blockchain apps, which is WOW!!!

NEO, it's the Chinese Ethereum, and the Chinese only buy and bet on the products made in China, so I think it will be worth the same as ETH over time

But think of it as opportunity to gain profits . Unlike ETH , NEO provides Gas which is same as staking rewards but ETH cannot be staked therefore you could only hold it while NEO would get at least twice as much because of this.

Its insane that just a year ago it was $0.11 per Neo ,Keep holding, its just the beginning .look into Universa the Russian version of Neo .just with a large coin supply .coming to exchanges in the next few weeks. ill be talking about crypto aswell check me out @wlson

Yes I agree fully. Neo has a very strong potential. I had a lot of ant shares early on and sold them for a pittance.
Since NEO is pretty high to get back into, I put decided to go for GAS.

Yea, Neo showed some tremendous gains during 2017, i personally not a huge fan of the type of smart contracts used in ETH and Neo as i think they are to sophisticated and will never be truly secure.
