1."Balina"-Crypto Investor Reportedly Hacked For $2 Mln On Live Stream, Internet Calls Foul;
Ian Balina, a cryptocurrency investor and advisor, was reportedly hacked for more than $2 mln in crypto while doing a live stream on his YouTube channel Sunday, April 15, that he advertised as “Hacking the System.” Watching the live stream of Balina’s Initial Coin Offering (ICO) review, viewers can see the point where Balina was unexpectedly logged out of his Google Spreadsheets. The Twitter and Reddit community suggest that this was elaborate maneuver, orchestrated by Balina, to avoid paying taxes to the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

2."Coinbase+Earn.com"-Coinbase Acquires Earn.com And Hires CEO As Chief Technology Officer;
Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has acquired Earn.com, a paid messaging service enabled by Blockchain technology, and appointed the company’s CEO, Balaji Srinivasan, as its first Chief Technology Officer (CTO), TechCrunch reported April 16. Neither Coinbase nor Earn.com, formerly known as 21.co, disclosed the terms of the deal, but Srinivasan told TechCrunch that it represented a positive return on investment for those who backed Earn.com. Since the company initially raised $120 mln in investment, there is some indication as to the cost of the deal.

3."Ripple"-UK Regulators To End “Wild West” Of Cryptocurrencies;
The world’s third largest cryptocurrency Ripple, has called on UK regulators to follow the lead of Japan and end the “Wild West” days of cryptocurrency markets by implementing new rules, The Telegraph reported April 15. Ryan Zagone, Ripple’s head of regulatory relations, urged British regulators to find a balance between “capturing risk and enabling innovation”. Zagone pinpointed three principles for suggested regulation: consumer protection, anti-money laundering, and financial stability.
