If you are involved with Bitconnect, then you have most likely seen the new pop-up for BitConnectX when logging into your BitConnect account. In fact, you can go to https://bitconnectx.co and check it out for yourself.
So what is it?
Nobody really knows for sure, but there is speculation out there that it could have something to do with a new exchange(hence the X). In fact if you go to the PolonieX website, you will see that the X used is very similar, if not identical. 
It also appears that there will be a new coin associated with BitconnectX, as there will be an ICO that is slated to start in a little over 7 days on January 10, 2018, and there is a Mining menu option on their site. Something else I found interesting is that it looks like you will be able to use Litecoin to purchase the new BitconnectX coin. There are not many lending platforms out there that have this option.
