INDIGEN is an open source cryptocurrency designed to help the indigenous people in preserving their culture through the use of blockchain technology. It is a cryptocurrency built on top of CryptoNote and very similar to bytecoin in terms of technology like Monero.

Indigen coin will serve as a donation currency that is to be used in Indigen ONE which will serve as our staging platform for all our blockchain-related community projects and services, Like:

  1. Affiliate Program
  2. Web Wallet, Mobile App for Android
  3. Merchant tools: online store, payment processor and leger or block explorer.
  4. The Indigen Coin Foundation (ICF) will pursue charity projects to help indigenous groups worldwide.

Is there any mining pool available or wallet available to download. I live in the Philippines therefore I must support it through mining and primotion too. However, before I did that I need further info on this coin first

I've asked sir larrimar (founder of Indigen) about this he said that he plans to centralize the mining so that big miners would not monopolize the mining rewards. He would then apportion the rewards to the indigenous groups as donation and the remaining prorated distribution to all users who keeps their coins in their wallet... the wallet will be released soon.
