Charlie Lee is well known in Crypto.

The Litecoin founder tweeted today on reaching these big milestones.

Charlie's last day at Coinbase was Friday, June 9th, 2017.

He tweeted on that around that time in June, that he was leaving to focus on Litecoin and with all the news going on with Bitcoin, which shares the same codebase with Litecoin.

I think this is great timing, considering everything going on in the Crypto space for LiteCoin to continue to shine and remain stable and grab those level-up increases in value, market cap and stats.

I love me some $LTC and Charlie Lee!

If you look at the 24h Volume chart/column here, LTC is blowing Ethereum out of the water by around ~22% or so LOL:

So if you are keeping track then yes, about ~120 days ago, it was $23 USD and today August 27th, it crossed the $60 mark.

And guess what?

On April 5th 2017 about ~140 days ago...... LTC was about $11 USD, as it was hitting ATH's around that time as your charts will show, above.

And about 2 weeks before that so roughly March 25th, it was in the $5 and $8 range as the gains started as you can see by a past article I did here:

Charlie is well known, respected and liked in the crypto space.

Litecoin for those who do not know was basically the 2nd crypto coin on the scene behind bitcoin.

It is a well established coin and community and Charlie knows his stuff, nobody debates this.

I love litecoin ..it is stable and keeping it's value
In confront of the bitcoin it worth between 1% and 2% of a bitcoin (similar proportion as silver to Gold).
It is one of those coins that I always buy and never sell

..I relay hope to see it's price in the thousands real soon :)
..I hope that one day it will worth 10% of a bitcoin

Who doesn't like Litecoin? $60+ hell yeah!

This indeed has been a long time overdue. CL was brilliant in easing the way for SegWit into Bitcoin with his low profile charming of the Chinese crypto community.

Now he is working on cross-chain atomic swaps with the Decred devs and that will be awesome. We'll have scaling and privacy with BTC-DCR-LTC and probably others too. The value proposition of Monero after that stuff gets built is not certain IMO.

LTC and BTC both belong to segwit but LTC is better than BTC , faster, low transaction fee, and more stable as of now. But steem is far far better than anyone of them.

Charlie Lee is very impressive from what I read about him. He certainly appears committed and has a vision for LTC. I believe he will pull off what he intends and that bode wells for all those holding LTC long term.

Unlike BTC which has the anonymous founder, Lee is at the forefront as a proponent of the coin he helped to create.
