Steemians: WARNING: Do NOT use Poloniex at this time for your STEEM and SBD transfers, and maybe other things - Here is why:

TODAY:

--

Our friend here @teamsteem had a very strong warning to all of us here, he does not want to see anyone hurt - he has a good heart -- he warned people like others have done to NOT USE POLONIEX for any Steem or SBD transfers right now:

Please Resteem this post!! Help others also! They are your family.

I use and have regularly used Poloniex charts as an example, at times, for graphic purposes but here is what @teamsteem said in the comments section of my post earlier tonight. I edited that post as it was important to him and I like him - he is a good guy!!

Neither of us, nor others -- want anyone new to crypto or who have been in crypto awhile to get hurt and if you like -- please go look at my wallet and see that I have $500 SBD sitting at Poloniex myself -- that money is my SteemFest money to get to Portugal.

I am writing this warning, with the words and blessing of @teamsteem, showing you that we can all be a TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More! - That we can and should care about each other - and I am working with him to show you--- Steemit family this and we care.

If anyone here does not want you hurt, it is people like me and @teamsteem who have money sitting at Poloniex, I have $500 SBD there and almost as much - so does @teamsteem !!

You can see from my wallet screenshot, I am backing up what I am saying...... my SBD deposit to Poloniex was sent, nearly 12 hours ago, and it is NOT in my Polo wallet!! (Today, June 22nd ~ 12 noon or so)

Poloniex is the biggest exchange going - most people know their name and logo and charts, it was for a graphic illustration only! That's why I use their charts much of the time - people recognize them but man, do they have a lot of problems these days, the news has been everywhere for months, my friends!

I've sent 490 SBD 23 hours ago to @poloniex and I haven't received them. I've triple check my memo code and opened up a ticket to @poloniex to let them know. I also seen a lot of Steemian in the last hours to days who talked about the similar situation.

@barrydutton as soon as you see my comment, correct your title so that it tell people not to sent SBD to Poloniex. Also make a clear warning that it might be the same for Steem as I've also seen people mentioning that the same happened to them in regard to sending Steem to poloniex.

I will remove my flag when you do so and I might even replace it with an upvote.

Thanks for reading, have a nice day.

I've been waiting for my STEEM deposit for a week, and have not received any response on the ticket I opened.. I wish there was a way Steemit could reverse the transaction it's not like they don't have $60 mil on their Steemit account..

I too have been waiting a week for a Poloniex support ticket to be answered. Only I am trying to transfer Steem from Polo to Steemit.com. It's maddening... how can a ticket go that long without being looked at? Hire some folks!

The problem with hiring customer service means they have to be trained-- financial matters mean more training because laws and stuff that effect crypto.

Polo admits they have system instability at the moment and that's why they disabled Etherium on their site.

Hopefully everything will be smooth again once the network is back to functioning.

I just checked. ETH withdraw and deposit seems to be functioning again.

It's frightening. Nothing against Polo - They just can't handle the volume both in transactions and new users. Thanks for putting this warning out - people should be avoiding Polo until they fix their current problems.

Monday was the first time I ever had issue with them; my steem deposit is still in limbo. I hope all those kinks get worked out asap. I prefer them over bittrex because fees, bit it's hard to recommend them when this stuff happens and they aren't keeping their users in the loop.

I tried to withdraw ETH two days ago, and it says complete, but I never received the ETH in my Coinbase wallet. I have not done a ticket yet. I figured it would get fixed. Looks like I need to do a ticket.

Hi,

So, did you get your eth deposit?

Customer service is a great tool for business growth. Its understandable that business can run into problem but should be more attentive and responsive when issues arise. I hope poloniex dont get out of market space. Kindly follow me @bewajijohnson

I do have a question here for the crypto community.
is this happening only with steemit transfers to Poloneix or happening with other cryptocurrencies on polneix.
If it happens with lots of cryptocurrencies we will try our best to reach the maximum possible of Poloneix users to quit Poloneix and never use it again. and this will make Poloneix a shitty small exchange its us who make it big not Poloneix itself

You can see here :

Bytecoin, Bitmark, Riecoin, SBD, Steem, and StorJcoin X are all disabled currently.

They have had my 1233 steem powerdown payment since Monday...

So far, Steem is the only one for me that has been effed up. And you have others complaining about SBD. But it would be good if others shared tickets they have on other coins. It's gotten me spooked to try moving anything off the exchange because I'm unsure what form to send it as. BTC? ETH? Definitely not Steem, which hurts Polo's reputation.

Also have a ticket open and waiting for 14 days now... no reply. I clicked a withdrawal link sent to my email and the activation code was consumed, but the transfer never authorized. A simple feature to revert any transactions that are "pending" longer than a few days would automatically fix this issue. It's pathetic, really.

For sure.

Share your support ticket here everyone, all on one post, share the Poloniex email address you used, etc etc

We can make a difference here and maybe use this one post to send to them and fix a bunch, in a hurry!!!!!!

right???

I am also "AWAITING APPROVAL" and have been for 3 weeks. Not sure whats really happening with poloniex , but right now I could use some expert help to get my btc out. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Steemit can't reverse the transaction but I'd love them to make a post about poloniex transfer being down. This would avoid a lot of unnecessary headache for Steemians. Hopefully Barry's post can help Steemian be aware of the current situation.

It's one thing for @poloniex to states that they are overwhelmed by too much requests to respond to all of them in a timely manner but it's pretty unacceptable for @poloniex to not warn their client their SBD and Steem transfer are not working at this moment.

Poloniex has a notice box which doesn't mention their transfer for SBD and Steem are down yet they mention their ETH transfer are down.

@ned, @andrarchy

Remember last week when I posted about both STEEM wallets being down at Bittrex??????

Kinda makes you wonder.

"Wallet maintenance" LOL

.... too many times we are seeing this.

And thanks for the big heart you always show people my man!

check out mah post on this thread on how to get your steem out of poloniex. it makes complete sense once ya see it...but be careful! Btw, how can we get in touch? I have a proposal for you @teamsteem ! :)

Get on Steemspeak.com and you'll find me there. Google steemspeak and you'll see the link. Download discord app and you'll be good to go.

cool! chat with you soon!

You are very right. This is the more reason why we steemers must be all updateed on what is happening there even before taking any decition is the crypto market. Have it in mind that cryptocurrency is always volatile, meaning anything can happen anytime. Kindly follow me @bewajijohnson

Thank you guys for speaking up. This is a real problem and I'm glad I know to try to avoid repeating the same mistakes. Thats whats it's all about. We have to let each other know whats going on. Again, too many leeches and snakes in the cryptocurrency world.

Bro! Me too, a bunch of SBD and quite a few Litecoin.

Mine is going on 5 days now. Also, absolutely no response from the ticket I've opened.

I wait for me tickets responses since may and never received any.

Dear Steemians,
I just want to encourage everyone here that this is PROBABLY just a temporary situation. STEEMIT and Poloniex, as IT companies, are probably going through some "growing pains" at the moment. Someone will find a bad piece of code somewhere, or figure out some regulation loophole, or something.... I doubt that this is a major fraud being perpetrated here. Both STEEMIT and Poloniex are reputable organizations. So, just a reminder to everyone to please remain as polite as possible when sending emails, etc. No situation is so bad that you can't make it worse by being a butthead - so don't be one. :D

This.

Thank you!

The problem is that they didn't issue any notice of this being down for so many hours and that's a very lame practice.

Sure - their Public Relations team is definitely out to lunch on this one.

Obviously, this is a major failure. When was the last time your business was prepared to handle a major failure?

At this point, we really do not know what happened. What I'm saying is that it's best to be patient and polite, until we have more information. Better to offer criticism once the full story becomes known. Right now, it's just incomplete.

I have lived through situations - for years - where critical pieces of information were either withheld, non-existent, and unknown. More than any other experience in life - this is probably in the top 3 "most difficult situations" for human beings to tolerate. Even if it turns out to be something really bad, some fraud or hack, Steemians would do well to handle themselves with poise & tact. They will look back on this later in life and at least have their dignity for maintaining their composure.

They are having issues that they really need to address to the community. Considering they HAVEN'T addressed the community, this is (ironically) a good sign. I say this because I understand the operations of crypto companies intimately. Not alerting your audience is like saying, "everything's fine, we have more customers than we can handle, and we don't mind if you leave."

Also, since their wallets had problems for a while, I moved my STEEM to Bittrex by using the directions below. This way if I want to move them, I won't have to worry about something happening with Poloniex's STEEM wallets.... and here's how I moved my STEEM out of Poloniex:

  1. Log into Poloniex
  2. Trade your STEEM for Bitcoin
  3. Withdraw the Bitcoin to a Bitcoin Deposit address on your Bittrex account.
  4. Once the Bitcoin transaction is confirmed on Bittrex, trade the Bitcoin back for Steem!

Hope this helps! :)

That's a very important news and I really thank you for sharing this very important news. And, specially for the new comers like me, this is so much very important. For example, me, I was going to do this transaction and that too for the first. I'd I had not read this post, I would have got myself in trouble. Thanks a lot again.
I really don't want anyone to suffer. So, I just resteemed this post. :)

I'm never trusting a business to hold my money ever again. The thing is that this is not unique to cryptos, banks do this kind of bullshit all the time, that's why if you read their fine print they are not legally obliged to give your money back to you, because it's somehow, by some legal voodoo, specially made for banks, theirs when you give it to them. I'm betting it's similar for these exchanges too.

that's ok for small amounts and probably the way to go , but for large amounts it is far too expensive.

I did an amount of the largest I could withdraw in 1 day. ($25,000 USD) ... and I paid about $200 in fees. This is COMPLETELY worth it if your alternative is finding out that they're going to "socialize" your losses! If you don't think this can happen, BitFinex did it.

Stopping by your reply again, to say good job RG. Nicely done again helping people --

I have not seen you in foreverrrrrrr man! Be good.

Been real worlding it and working on helping minnows learn to swim. :)

Bittrex UI is so trash though :(

I like it better. Just a preference thing I guess.

If you don't want to use Poloniex you can use Bittrex....I would always check current prices and fees on every platform before doing any transaction.

Great stuff Evan.

You are everywhere, I think you will catch me in total post count in like a month LOL

LOL...where do you find that out at? Do you have a link @barrydutton?

It is good advice my man.

Couple days ago I wanted to sell some Steem to get some Ethereum and Poloniex's Steem and SBD wallets were offline. Maybe it was a good thing. I used the services of Bittrex instead.

Is there any other exchange besides Poloniex and Bittrex that trade Steem?

I HAVE HAD TWO PROBLEMS WITH POLONIEX MYSELF. TWO OF MY COINS, UNDER WITHDRAWAL/DEPOSIT, SAID UNAVAILABLE. I SENT IN TWO HELP TICKETS AND AFTER 5 DAYS, NO RESPONSE.

I FOUND OUT I WAS STILL ABLE TO SELL MY TWO COINS AND CONVERT TO BITCOIN. MY BITCOIN, UNDER WITHDRAWAL/DEPOSIT, WAS NOT LOCKED OR UNAVAILABLE.

SO IF YOU FIND YOUR COINS ARE LOCKED OR SAYS YOU CANT WITHDRAWAL OR DEPOSIT, JUST TRY SELLING THEM TO BITCOIN. MAYBE YOUR ONLY WAY LIKE IT WAS FOR ME.

I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE.

IT WAS REALLY HARD FOR ME TO SEE ALMOST 1,400 DOLLARS OF MY COINS AND IT WOULD NOT LET ME MOVE THEM.

GOOD LUCK
-PK

Unfortunately, mine got caught on the way in, the deposit still doesn't show but it's there on the steem blockchain and it has the right memo code. If it had settled into the balance and I could trade it, I would have, that was my plan, to exchange it for BTC... Well, I changed my plan afterwards (it is going back into SP) but I can't do anything about it until they re-enable it.

Some kind of boilerplate apology notice on our tickets would be nice. An annourcement here would be very good business etiquette. But instead we are all abandoned.

Good input, thanks a lot for that...

How about exchanges that partner with Polo, like Changelly? Do you suppose you have the same warning about them?

@shayne

Changelly and Shapeshift have both been irritating also, not quite as bad as this but often with a Steem disabled or site broken or something. At least their service is faster, I've never been left dangling like this before by a legit business.

Shayne that is really solid input man, good stuff.

I am not sure what you meant by the 2nd half of your message, you sounded upset there, or something.

  • share your thoughts, if you have a moment. I will always listen to you.

Changelly partners with Polo. More often than not, when you go to the Changelly homepage there is a warning message that "our exchange partner Poloniex is experiencing technical issues and transactions could take up to several hours" etc.

Does that mean that Changelly is using Poloniex as a proxy?

Ah.

You are the first person I have hear of this from, and you are pretty sharp, so my crypto would bet you are right Shayner.

Thanks for the input today man. I always love hearing from you.

I am really struggling trying to keep up here with everything some days now on Steemit and everything else.

I use Bittrex now, is it more reliable? It seems to have higher user ratings when I google it

Thanks for this post helping spread the warning! As a new user I dont know to much about Poloniex. Is there other ways users can withdraw their STEEM?

a lot of steemians use Bittrex.

I can not register in blocktrades.us how you recommended that? Seems to me site is down.

Then why don't you just take bittrex? Sorry for having posted a link trying to help. Plus their site isn't down. I can access it.

bittrex interface I do not like. But poloniex interface I really love

Ironically, I resorted to @poloniex because Blocktrades was down, the webserver wasn't working for a few hours. I wish I'd been patient, directly after I transferred into the limbo land, Blocktrades was back up. Curses!

Thanks for such valuable info @teamsteem , better safe than sorry ALWAYS

btw, I have some ETH in Kraken. I have tier 2 verified. Sent a ticket asking for info regarding my tier 3 verification two months ago and never had an answer. Not sure if this is due to massive traffic and them not being able to handle it properly, or just plain indifference.
Starting to worry me actually.

Would you recommend Kraken? Do you think I should start moving my ETH to Bittrex?
Thanks a lot again!

At this point I think all exchanges are trying to become bigger and don't really care about answering their customer. Bittrex is one of the rare that I've heard answering their customer but as with every exchange they aren't above possible issues.

great thank you!

yeah bittrex is good

My main post earlier in the day was that the SBD price was WAY down on Bittrex, but that is a big one.

Other ideas are in that post, if you want to check the post on my page

I will seems like you'd be a great person to follow for great information! Thanks for that!

No worries, thanks for checking in, today has been kinda tough and a struggle but I am always down for trying to do what I can to spread love and help, just like @teamsteem and many others here my friend.

Pls. consider resteeming this post and helping others!!!!

thank you for the warning! and i thought i have too much tabs opened in browser hehhe. silly times.

very helpful and eye opening to any of us using poloneix

Shifty, they seem awful shifty!!!!

Thank you for the heads up!

Of course @paul.atreides. I would stay away from coinbase too.

Paul, I am glad you came here!

Thanks for the info. will stick to Bittrex then, as ive been for quite a while. No Problems there..

Thanks for commenting, please resteem this to help others too!!! A lot of new people coming daily need good info.

Will do :)

Well then, what do you recommend aside from poloniex?

I transferred a lot of other cryptos to Poloniex several days ago, converted to Steem but when I came to withdraw was told it was temporarily disabled. No explanation but I was not able to withdraw. I had to convert to Btc and withdraw that way as I refuse to leave funds on exchanges. I assumed this was due to the hardfork but the restriction is still in place. Are there any alternatives to trade Steem etc?

wow!!! I am in the same situation! only 60 sbd though....upvoted and followed! if you like crypto mining and traveling/photography, feel free to visit my page @maninjapan1989

I also use Poloniex have not had any issues yet.
I am not an active trader so this might be why I miss most of the issues.

I did notice however the last few weeks, it looks like they have lots of wallet issues, being disabled.

They also seem to take much longer than other exchanges to get wallets back up and running again. But apart from that I can say that I have seen any major issue with them.

Still the same situation, and clouds around Poloniex get darker.

Thanks for the update @barrydutton I exchanged quite abit of SBD a few days ago and also a bunch of lite coin after the dip and sold some off and its still "pending" I hope I didn't get screwed. Damn, shit like this pisses me off.

Thanks for the post and the support! Upvoted you and following you too now.

People, why use the centralized exchanges with your de-centralized investments? Use openledger, the Bts based de-centralized exchange and avoid all of these headaches!

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Thank you for posting! I'm relatively new to buying cryptocurrency, and have been trying to figure out the best way to buy STEEM and get it to my Steemit account. A few weeks ago, I had the same trouble on Poloniex and my transaction sat in awaiting approval status for days!! Even though I had successfully done this once before via the email link, this time it was stalled for days, so I eventually gave up, and was able to reverse the transaction! The STEEM is still on Poloniex. Wondering if I should just covert it to BTC and transfer it to anther exchange like Bittrex? Suggestions welcome.

Thanks for the update! It looks like the deposits and withdraws and temporarily disabled for STEEM and have been for some time. I would recommend using Bittrex. Let's hope your funds get transferred whenever it's enable again!

steem disabled.png

So pathetic. A stitch in time saves nine. Thanks for that alert.

Ya somebody else I follow said the same thing. He put like a $100 in there and it never showed up. Somebody else has a vid on here about their Bittrex account being hacked & he lost a bunch too. So apparently block chains are under attack...

Don't use Poloniex PERIOD!

That's a very important news and I really thank you for sharing this very important news. And, specially for the new comers like me, this is so much very important. Thank you for the updates on poloniex and the warnings from other top stemians...this goes to show we here care for one another. I wonder what those who does not have such info will do as information is power. Keep it up. Upvote & following for more...

Well it's not only Steem. I'm still waiting for my ETC to be desposited.... Been over 7 days.

Wow, I just completed my first power down a couple days ago (thank you everyone who upvoted my comments!) for 50 steem and was thinking about getting myself into some trading, literally just got back on 5 minutes ago and this popped up in my newsfeed! Synchronicity, not that my 50 steem is all that much but it would have left a shitty taste in my mouth for my first step into cryptotrading! Thank you bro, I'm gonna resteem this and hope more are weary and cautious with their valuables!

What are some alternatives that are trusted, I want to get my hands on some POT coins, thank you @reddust for the "tip".

They have been having issues with their SBD wallets. try bittrex instead

The cryptocurrency has been taking over and it is just too much for these people. They should be able to fix this with the amount of money that is being pushed into it.

Thanks, that is so thoughtful of you to drop the warning.

Pls. consider resteeming this post and helping others!!!!

Okay,

followed/upvoted/shared/appreciated! I was just about to transfer to Poloniex, but I was already a little worried as I've seen on polonium it's not accepting steam at various times. Thanks for confirming!

This happened with an XRP transfer to us last night. Took about 12 hrs for it to go through.

A stitch in time saves nine. Steemians should be heed to this caution. Thanks for the alert.

Before using the Poloniex, in advance, look at the statuses of the purses. This will help to avoid unpleasant situations.

For now:

Good luck)

I noticed Poloniex has a note saying the chat window has been disabled so moderators can help in answering support tickets lol. Not a good sign.

Yes, that has been up for so long now and I think it is propaganda bc nothing seems to be working any better or quicker there.

I wonder if some high school kid from say Seattle or something could run an exchange more efficiently from his bedroom.

upvote me pls friends

I have heard nothing but bad thing about Poloniex recently. They seem to be having a lot of trouble with the growth of the industry. If they don't fix this soon, they will become a has been in the industry.

You know..., I'm always having trouble with Poloniex. I'm thinking of not using them anymore. I believe your article really has helped me make my decision much more clearer. Thank you again.

Thank you for the post. I am loosing faith in most of these exchanges, it's time for a change here as well. They are holding our money an der you can't even get them on the phone or hold them accountable. Have some other currencies lost with them :( let's hope some alternative emerges? Maybe a decentralized exchange like MVO will do. the job?

Does anyone have an alternative to polo?

meep

hi fellow steemer thank you for the post. I want to know for a post how much days sttemit pays to the author? 30 days???
Resteemed+followed

.. 7 days now, it used to be split into 2 dates.

i do not get it?
how much day steemit pays to the author?

how to withdraw my steem?

7 days after a post is made.

they pay only 7 days for a post ? Or pay after every 7 days for lifetime?

Only once but the idea is that Steem will rise in value for a long time to come.

Nothing but bad press for Polo every day. It's to the point where if there is smoke there is fire with them. I could see issues every now and then and maybe a bad week or two. But Wow, every day for months. Something smells fishy over there at Polo.

Polo Down

You are bang on as always man, you are good people Lex

Bittrex FTW! There have been far too many bad things about Poloniex lately, really sad to see.

I've been waiting 23 days for someone to reply to my support ticket about missing ETC . Seems like support doesn't exist

I see. You should receive if your memo is right. poloniex should not take your money. it a big site. even my 300$ there. but yea take time to response. For example. we are advertising in facebook. and facebook never response over a week because of overload. So I am sure they should response you. The transfer is so Quick. But may be at the moment steem it to poloniex transfer issue. however upvote and follow you!

Good thing Im on bittrex :) thanks for the reminder

It made me thinking now

As I did some steem transfer yerterday and it went through smooth but yes I have to be careful on next transfers.

Thanks for the warning man. I haven't even registered with Polo yet, but I'll stay away for now until maybe I hear better things about them. Resteemed.

thanks for sharing.... haven't tried Poloniex yet

This is no time to start LOL!

Please Resteem the post and spread word, help others. It is a strong warning!!!

thanks for sharing, probably Poloniex is simply too busy or not anymore prepare to handle the nowadays volumes of trading

Thanks for the heads up!

Man, I truly hope no one has "Madoff" with peoples' STEEM however sadly this is precisely why I have very little faith in this whole crypto-business. If you cannot hold it....you do not own it sadly....any government can easily restrict or shut down the internet entirely at any given moment then - P00F! - it's bye bye burdie . . .

thanks for sharing

Since I have opened an account in Poloniex, I'm facing so much of issues and seeing many complains about this company. Which one is best to transfer money ??

wooooooow

Disclaimer: I am just a bot trying to be helpful.

Poloniex is always having bad news. Better off making accounts on other exchanges and using them.

Damn you polo for the stuck steem! Don't damped my dream to be the king!

Would it be best just to leave the STEEM I have on polo or trade it into something else to get it off of Polo?

Best,
Isaac

What's the best option for buying Steem? I used https://blocktrades.us/ for my purchase my Steem account but not the actual coins. Any recommendatinos?

Go DEX

It's horrible to see all these issues with centralized exchanges. Hopefully it will be resolved shortly. My tip is to check out the decentralized exchange OpenLedger.io based in the #bitshares system. It's stable and has been around for a long time now.

Thank you for the update. I found this quite useful!

I'm sorry, steemfest you will go there. Is there anything other than poloniex?

blocktrades.us was the first one i used and probably will use again, it's important for a platform/exchange to show uptime, communicate to it's users, i do hope poloniex can pull it together and fix the problems especially when it messes with peoples plans. hope you find a resolution.

Thanks my friend.

It's sad. Poloniex is the "known" and biggest exchange and it's getting so much bad press. So many stories of crypto being lost, stolen, or delayed. I don't know what's going on but it just makes people anxious and irritated/ frustrated. Hate to see people loose their hard earned money. Wish you all luck in your endeavors to get your monies back.

They are really getting worse, not better.

Thanks!!

I hope this gets sorted out soon for everyone. While I'm new and therefore haven't had any dealings with Poloniex I've upvoted and resteemed this to get the word out in my small way. Wishing the best for all effected by this.

I requested a withdrawal on the 21th of June...
Still waiting, even if it is marked as complete in my history. Two more recent (couple of days ago) still marked as pending

Not good.

Agreed!

I know for a fact my posts this last week on this, is helping people and that makes me happy!!!

Pls consider resteeming this to share with and help more people learn!!

I think it is very true, and I think a lot of others agreed once they saw this info, thanks!!!

poloniex is messing with us all read my post and see for yourself

Congratulations @barrydutton

You took 53 place in my Top 100 of posts

Thanks!

really super pissed. I was off SteemIt for a while and when I came back, I had this load of money to cash out and decided to take it ALL out. seems like I've got the news too late because now my money is sitting with these fools and nobody seems to be replying any of my customer service tickets!!

Their FB seems to have nothing but a bloody cover photo for the last 2 years - no posts or photos or updates. And their twitter account is just as defunct - no acknowledgement on what's going on for us at all?

Talk about luck.

Most feeling the same, did you see the big BitShares news on my blog similarly the last day or so???

Unlocked wallets there first time in months, I found out 10 mins or so, and blogged on that - it helped a lot of people!

ive now been waiting a 6 days to get my steem off poloniex into my steemit account, a couple of days after starting my withdrawl the usual "temporarily disabled" notice was shown in the deposits and withdrawls page... after reading up about poloniex i truly think its time i moved all of my coins to another xchange! :(

Likely a good move.

85% of this post is useless attention-grabbing! Seriously that makes me angry and almost downvote but for the sake of steemit, not gonna do it.
You wrote sentences multiple times over and over again and the only part that was 'helpful' was this one :
"
I've sent 490 SBD 23 hours ago to@poloniex and I haven't received them.

"

And the worst part is the end! Why do you have to include billions of altcoin- wallets???
I'm not sure if you were aware send conscious while writing this but I hope you improve in the future- future.

I also thought the dozens of wallets was excessive . Isn't that the point of steemit to make money from up votes not tips in wallets.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

yea and how will you keep track of all wallets and prices?
Probably a bot is keeping an eye on that.

This is happening again. over the past few days I have been trying to send some of my steem to steemit from poloniex. I managed to send 1 but 4 were lost in errors and one is still pending. They seem to have suspended trading.

Would you mind telling me how I send money from bittrex to my steemit. I used my username for the account but it didnt work. I could do it some weeks ago, from ETH to STEEM. But now it only sends me to BlockTrades.
And I have SBD, so I would like to send them as their are without trading.

We need a steem hard wallet, im planning to buy trezor, there is way toomuch risk holding cryptos on the internet. we need more security.

This is still an issue...!

I have some Steem on poloniex, they are temporary disabled..

one week now... I

can't get them out of there.. it is so frustrating.. I mean.. wtf...!? It's my freaking steem..

Let me have them back..!!

Nice post. I was about to post a similair post. Investing in the cryptospace might come with a high risk but honestly I don't believe the risk is that high for the people who are daring to HOLD their coins for long. Does anyone know about: https://www.coincheckup.com I'm really happy with this site that gives complete coin analysis for every single crypto.

Thank you Barry! I will upvote when it hits the 30 minutes mark.

OK.

Your votes on auto usually come in around 25 or so, thanks for the support and helping everyone out my man!

(:

Is Bittrex the best site to use? I currently have money in Poloniex, Kraken, and coinable, but maybe it's time to move?

The 30 min. mark ? I read that and thought maybe Id read it wrong. (read it twice) So then, it does make a better return after the 30 min.? Thought maybe that was so people didnt just set n refresh the New, hitting them all n hoping to get lucky. Ive only been here about a week so Im still trying to get it all figured out.

Interesting blog. Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. There's a lot of exchanges out there. I found that coinmarketcap.com gives quite a decent overview. I was wondering if anyone of you uses: https://www.coincheckup.com Complete Coin analysis about the team, product, communication transparency, advisors and investment statistics.

I keep flagging you spammers, WTF is wrong with you people????
