First of all, I'm the idiot in question here, in case there's any confusion! Secondly, I'm not a professional investor, nor an amateur investor who invests like a professional--like many people in crytopcurrency seem to be!
So, this is really for those of you, who like me, are curious about cryptocurrency and how to get into it--if for no other reason than to have first hand experience of the craze, and be able to tell some of the myth from the reality.
Finally, as should be disclaimer with any kind of cryptocurrency or stock market "advice": please don't invest unless you can afford to and are emotionally comfortable with losing all your money! That’s most definitely the nature of cryptocurrencies, even bitcoin or ether: highly inflated, largely on hype alone.
