@beachbuminvestor seeing RED, as profit taking WANKERS lead a panic sell.

I stacked in pretty hard when the overall market cap dropped to US$100b. At this point, I've taken about a 20% overall hit and a 6% hit on additional investments since last night (Aussie time)......or have I. No, because I haven't sold anything.

It is important to remember that the market will likely go up AND down from the point you buy or sell. It is almost impossible (unless you are @financialcritic) to pick exact tops and bottoms of any market. Over a long enough time frame you will more than likely be right and wrong.

The best piece of advice I can give to any newbie is NEVER SELL AT A LOSS. This might sound stupid, but I personally believe that holding until you hit profit is the best way to show consistent returns, and even hope for a correction so you can accumulate more coins.

So if like me, you did this week's budget a little early (no buying for me until Thursday now). Don't stress. Go for a surf, take a walk, catch up with a friend or family, do something kind for a stranger. Because market confidence will return, when I can't say, but blockchain tech is here to stay!

That is indeed excellent advice. I'm holding myself as well.

Reminds me of an interview I had with the legendary B-Real of Cypress Hill. He had a pretty amazing insight about the crypto space: https://steemit.com/blockchain/@valderrama/i-interviewed-cypress-hill-and-asked-about-blockchain

:)

Legend. I'll take a look. Upvoted for intrigue (seriously Cypress Hill? Awesome!) "I'm going, insane on the blockchain" (MC Fish, lol), and for adding to the steemit community. Well done again @valderrama. By the way I'm making that song "Insane on the blockchain" so don't anyone even think about stealing the idea. lol. MC Fish out.

Ok dude, just started reading the article. I now have to ask. Is it okay if I write the song from the idea YOU HAD FIRST? lol. Sorry about the end of the last message. Not looking to rip anyone off, just to add to this creative and informative social media platform. Of course I would give you full credit for the "original concept". Is it cool if I do some work on a song?

:)

Go ahead mate. If you give me full credit, resteem, mention me I'm more than OK with it.

I'm actually curious now :)

done. Thanks mate. I'll give you a full shout out and full credit for the original concept when I realease the song. Hope you don't mind a little offensive language. I tend to find it useful in this style of creative writing.

Please do not read if you are easily offended, but I am actually in the early stages of producing the music video based on the article below.

JP Richardson (Exodus founder) took the time to sit down and personally offend me over my lack of computer knowledge.

I have competed at the international level in bodyboarding so this will go viral at least amongst the bodyboarding/surf world, but I'm guessing I can get a few NWA fans, and crypto fans on board too.

I'll give you a shout out in the first line when I release the article, but if and when we are actually going to make more music videos, will rely heavily on the success of "Exodus Burn". (The name of the song in this article.)

I don't do things by halves mate. We are looking to release on Itunes and launch a bodyboarding brand off of the Exodus Burn song. I'd be happy to cut you in on any song sales realised on the planned release of "Insane on the blockchain" as the original creator of the concept.

This by no means an official offer or contract but I think 50-50 is always fair. So if we get as far as seeing it on Itunes I will give you 50% of music sales net profit for this song.

Thanks legend.

I'm extremely curious man, just to read the lyrics at least. You sure can write.

Had missed the Exodus story, just read the article... can't wait to see and hear it.

Awesome that you were a competitive bodydoarder. I actually was a fencer competing internationally. More info in my first post here on Steemit.

Keep up the good work!

@beachbuminvestor I was rectified by my good friend and partner in crime @thetimminator that he actually first introduced the "insane in the blockchain" phrase during one of our iMessage convos. So please do make sure that you give full credits to him!

In the heat of the moment I happened to post it, but he in fact is the mastermind. The interview story made around it does come from me though ;)

I will continue with my interview idea and planning on creating a series out of it, next interview that I'm going to do will be with Daddy Yankee, so be on the lookout for that ;)

It's even better for you if you use @thetimminator because I think you can actually rhyme better with it than my nickname ;)

Keep riding them waves bro!
