[UPDATE 2 JAN 6TH] - BE WARNED; DADI ICO RED FLAGS

Yesterday a user on Reddit named yuyoi278 posted a thread about possible plagiarism in the DADI whitepaper.

Later, after more evidence was presented that DADI plagiarized portions of the SONM whitepaper, it was clear that there are major red flags.

An official statement came out from DADI which you can read here.

The tl;dr is they're sorry they got caught, and that they're still different from SONM. Still encouraging people to buy ICO.

My advice?

STAY AWAY

I'm hoping Chris Mair, who is the bridge between DADI and Raiblocks, was not directly involved in this. But it says a lot about the DADI team as a whole for their lack of oversight.

[UPDATE JAN 4TH] - CONFIRMED; ANNOUNCEMENT SOON

Last night on the telegram chat a member of the Raiblocks team has confirmed they'll be announcing the partnership soon.

Raiblocks could continue to fly if this recent rumor about a re-brand and partnership with Dadi is confirmed.

So, what's the story?

And what is "Dadi"?

Let's begin:

Earlier today a user on Reddit named Afkbio posted a screenshot he took of https://nano.dadi.cloud/rn before it was made private.

This screenshot appears to show Raiblocks rebranding to "NANO" and is partnered with DADI (more on this below).

It also shows all 5 members of the Raiblocks development team on the project.

Here's the screenshot posted (I've highlighted relevant information):

If this rebrand turns out to be true, it comes as no surprise. The development team have said that a new website was in the works, and also said they were looking at rebranding Raiblocks amid some confusion over the pronunciation of "rai".

The Raiblocks staff commented:

"There's been a shedload of rebrand suggestions lately. Looks like someone went to a lot of trouble to put this one together."

This neither confirmed nor denied something was in the works.

Later, a user named Frosstic posted further evidence to suggest not only is this rebrand coming, but Raiblocks is also partnering with DADI. Read the Reddit thread linked above as it's being updated with more evidence as it's found.

So, What Is "DADI" (and what does it do)?

From their website:

DADI is a global, decentralized cloud services platform, offering compute power, database storage, content delivery and other functionality to help businesses scale and grow.

After briefly going through its team, partnerships, and development, this looks like a stellar project. It's been in the works for 4 years and has a great rating on icoranker.

Conclusion

This is as yet unconfirmed by the DADI team or the Raiblocks team.

Regardless of whether it's confirmed or not, I still think both these projects are fantastic, and it's a great opportunity to get involved.
