Well, yes, the Chinese government appealed and urged the IMF to make Yuan also set as the benchmark of the SDR's value like the other four currencies.But the IMF itself has certain criteria for Yuan can be recognized as the benchmark currency SDR. One is that the currency is often used in world trade. Surely Yuan has met these criteria. Because for now Yuan succeeded in occupying the fourth order as the currency most often used around the world by overtaking the Yen and was approaching the position of Pounds in the Third. First and Second order is definitely occupied by US dollars and EURO.So the way for Yuan to control Gobal Currency is only three more ratings.
Is it enough for the Chinese government? "Not yet !"
In October, the Chinese government launched the Cross-border Payment System for Yuan. Usually the Global Payments are handled by SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).However, since the existence of a new Payment System, any kind of trading activity involving Yuan currency must be through CIPS (China International Payments System). This is actually the result of a SWIFT threat that will expel Russia from their list. So China is afraid of going through the same thing. Besides, the Chinese government also knows that many American Spying Agents are entrenched in the Organization. So if this CIPS exists, then it can be ascertained that countries contrary to Western interests like for example Russia, will definitely join this one.
The point is that the Chinese Government wants to shift the dominance of US Dollar. They want Yuan to be accepted by the World. They may be bored every time they pay their imported commodities with dollars. Moreover, China is currently listed as the most aggressive country in consuming world commodities, especially energy.
Will this be the end of America's dominance of world trade imminent?
Beginning next year, the Chinese government will release a new electronic currency that is definitely aimed at shifting the dominance of BITCOIN ...
