Crypto Addiction - How much is too much ?

Cryptocurrency was not a word in my vocabulary until about 3 weeks ago.

Now however; it's a word that seems to dominate my relationship and my surroundings. Every day and every night my partner (being the geek that he is) is obsessed with putting funds into crypto.

Obsessed is a strong word, yes. But so is addiction.

I understand the hype behind this all and how money driven every investor is to get their piece of the crypto pie, but at what cost ?

Our initial investment into crypto was a mutual decision to grow our money. The daily conversation post our initial investment wasn't even conversation. It's turned into "I need money for crypto, don't you want our money to grow". This request is daily if not hourly ! Don't get it twisted, i am all for supporting my other half and believing in his crazy ideas 99.9% of the time but i also come from a logical place of everything needs a limit.

My partner's concept: "The limit does not exist"

Currently I am finding myself in a place where my funds are all being exhausted to be put into cryptocurrency and there is no mutual agreement on "how much is too much". We no longer communicate unless it's about crypto and if it's going up or down.

Cryptocurrency is taking over my life.
