I have a conspiracy theory that perhaps Bitcoin represents Gold and Ethereum Silver. That the gains of those cryptocurrencies will actually be very similar to the gains for the precious metal, fortelling of future gains of the precious metals. I mean Ethereum is Silver and Bitcoin Gold. Literally thats the image representation of them. They nearly have the same ratio as Gold and Silver and behave in the save manner in relation to each other.
What are your thoughts?
Litecoin is supposed to be the silver of the crypto world.

BTC = Gold
LTC = Silver (4X Network solution, well ahead of Ethereum in stability)
ETH = Copper (still valuable)

I don't understand why they are compared all the time. Bitcoin has much more in common with litecoin.

I think we have a tendency to compare what's new to what came before. Cryptocurrency is different than rare metals in that not just anyone can verify the gold/silver to be pure, whereas software can verify for any user.
