2018 Predictions

2017 has been an amazing year, and with it the explosion of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has gotten the most media attention, and while I do value it, I don't think certain cryptos got enough spotlight.

With 2018 coming soon, I'm curious to see which currencies are expected to rise (in value and attention).

In my personal opinion, I believe that Ripple(XRP) will be one of the big players in 2018, it has the technology and followers to give it enough potential to pass ETH (in Market Cap). Besides Ripple, I also believe in Stellar (XLM), BURST, and Tron (TRX). However my portfolio does extend past these coins, each of these coins offer something which I believe in. I do not expect these coins to skyrocket in value, so as always I plan to HODL. Below I'll state my reasons for why I invested in these coins, along with links to their websites if anyone would like to find out more about them.

XLM: Similar to XRP, has much more room to grow however, excited to see where it will go

BURST: HDD mining, I don't expect it to rise by much, but HDD mining is such a cool feature, along with saving loads of electricity

TRX: Entertainment no longer has to be stored in data centers, especially good due to the repeal of Net Neutrality, will take some time to develop however
