The new 1995 internet

Look I get it. Governments, big corporations and powerful individuals abuse their power and break laws to stay in power. Everyone who realizes this abhors them. Some look the other way while others go to extremes and become anarchists.

Bitcoin started as an attempt to make transactions more efficient. However, one of its feature of being almost untraceable attracted the underground community. And so bitcoin was born.

Lots of drama and years later, Bitcoin is recognised all over the world as a disruptive technology.
Since then many different types of crypto currencies sprouted, with different features and different purposes. A new industry (still in its infancy) with unlimited potential is now growing.

Blockchain today is where the internet was in 1995. As most of the internet companies of 1995 did not exist 10 years later, most of todays cryptos will not exist 10 years from now.
Even with its fait share of drama, the internet continued to grow and changed our world. This is exactly what blockchain and cryptos will do. They will change the future!

As i described in my first article, I work in a Swiss private bank with rich clients.

Let me tell you something, NONE of my clients have any bitcoin nor most my colleagues! If you had asked me a year ago I would have said, ‘’so what, its just a fad’’. But today, I find it shocking that people dont realise the potential of blockchain. And that is actually a good thing. It means there is still a lot of opportunities for early adopters.
99.9% of banks cant even store bitcoin…

If you think about it, the good news is that this means that one day all these people will wake up at the same time and will want to buy Bitcoins. And the price will freaking shoot up like craaazy!
The bad news, is that before cryptos are accepted by most of the 7 Billions people on this planet, they will crash, they will boom and they will be treated as the enemy by governments. Like the dot com bubble, cryptos will have their fare share of disaster. But don’t lose faith because the technology and the horrible leaders we have on this planet will push the world toward new realities.

I don’t know if Bitcoin will be the next super currency or if there will be others, I unfortunately don’t understand the technologies behind them to try and predict.

What I understand is history and human behavior. At some point during this century, war will come. It will be harsher than anything this planet has ever seen. With high debt government own, they will try to steal people’s money to fund their wars. They will enter your bank accounts, they will hack you, they will create inflation out of thin air. Most of these are already being done actually. The few who are affected, understand it. Most people look the other way. One day, everyone will be affected, everyone will wake up.

People will continue living, the human race will survive and we will find a way to thrive.
Our disgust of governments will reach new highs and we will turn to crypto currencies to object centralization of power.

So if you are ever told, it is too late to buy cryptos. Smile and send them my article :)
