This is a continuation of my previous post on Crytonote/Cyrptonight coins. In that post, I took a look at the various Cryptonight algorithm coins (Monero, Electroneum, Aeon, DigitalNote, Sumokoin, etc.)
As of late, DigitalNote has had an excellent run. One thing to remark about DigitalNote is that it is similar to ZenCash, as it allows for encrypted communications in the wallet as well as a private currency.
DigitalNote has doubled in the past month time frame. What is interesting about the Cryptonight coins, however, is that Sumokoin is much less in market cap (less than 100 million) while XDN is close to 400 million.
Here is a quick view of the DigitalNote wallet. Note that it is Qt based and while it's aesthetics are not the greatest, it is definitely functional.
Summary
The Cryptonight algorithm coins show some interest, and I like the Monero family of coins. It will be interesting to see where both Sumokoin, DigitalNote, and Aeon go in 2018.
