Monero (XMR) and Litecoin (LTC) may bundle forces? 💱 LTC/XMR Atomic Swaps

The hidden potential aspect of this annoucement is that if the LTC to XMR atomic swap is successful, then most likely LTC will be able to atomic swap to any other cryptonote type coin. This includes Aeon, Digital Note, Sumokoin, and Electroneum among others. Among the privacy related coins, I find the cryptonote / cryptonight ones more "stable" in terms of the overall algorithm. They are also straightforward to mine.

Overall, this is a huge momentum for Litecoin as it will provide a gateway for privacy feature that I don't see BTC being able to produce. Additionally, as compared to Ethereum's potential with Zk-Snarks, I like the portfolio of cryptonote coins that LTC could potentially access in the near future. Charlie has vision.

I agree the implications are very interesting!

I do think BTC could match this atomicswap capability of LTC though, as they are both based on the same code more or less. It should be relatively easy to implement for Bitcoin once it's done on Litecoin?
