Month End Recap: My Top 10 Market Cap Coin Prediction For January

About a month ago I did a post predicting what I felt would be the top 10 market cap coins at the end of the month.

My End Of January Prediction (from Jan 4, 2018):

1. Bitcoin (currently #1)
2. Ethereum (currently #3)
3. Ripple (currently #2)
4. Stellar (currently #7)
5. Cardano (currently #5)
6. NEM (currently #6)
7. Litecoin (currently #8)
8. Bitcoin Cash (currently #4)
9. IOTA (currently #9)
10. NEO (currently #13)

Actual End Of January Results (from Jan 31, 2018):

1.Bitcoin (got coin correct, position correct)
Sidenote: Not a huge shocker, BTC still remains the #1 king for now
2.Ethereum (got coin correct, position correct)
Sidenote: Ethereum was able to hold value better then most retaking #2
3.Ripple (got coin correct, position correct)
Sidenote: Ripple did what I expected and had a major correction back to #3
4.Bitcoin Cash (got coin correct, position wrong)
Sidenote: I expected BCH to dip a bit more then it did
5.Cardano (got coin correct, position correct)
6.Stellar (got coin correct, position wrong)
Sidenote: Stellar dipped a bit faster then I expected it to during this time
7.NEO (got coin correct, position wrong)
Sidenote: I didn't expect NEO to perform so well this fast
8.Litecoin (got coin correct, position wrong)
Sidenote: I didn't expect NEO to pass LTC this early pushing it down a spot
9.EOS (got coin wrong, position wrong)
Sidenote: I didn't expect EOS to pass position #12 in January
10.NEM (got coin correct, position wrong)
Sidenote: I didnt expect a random 500mil hack to crash the price this month

11.IOTA (got coin wrong, got position wrong)
Sidenote: I didn't expect EOS to jump it into the top 10 yet pushing IOTA out

Total Top 10 Coins Correct = 9/10

It was a fun little experiment which overall I am quite happy with the results of as I was fairly accurate for the most part, although there were quite a few unexpected surprises (NEO mooning, EOS mooning, NEM crashing, BCH not crashing) which threw some of my predictions (mainly exact positions) off by a tiny bit.

If I get some spare time over the coming weekend, I may do another month end top 10 prediction for February 2018 to see if I can get somewhat similar results.
