What I learned from the start of coin trading AND what I've told friends who have made thousands

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

I should start by saying i've been a Bitcoin hodlr for over 5years. I made decent money. I started 'trading' approx 1yr ago.

Usually after I give a speech about how what I say shouldn't be considered investment advice I tell family and close friends to venture into cryptocurrency with a few things in mind;

Please) Mine something.

  1. Start trading with pennies. Found some change? Move some mined coins to exchange.... make it fun. Avoid the hurt of any neg impact.

  2. Use what you can loose ... while keeping a smile. If you make your 'mark' in fun money trade the extra to your hold coin of choice. Then move to hold wallet to avoid temptation.

  3. Pick your favorite. Be active in it's dev by participating in community talks and HODL to show support.

The play account my son and I learn from will never see another deposit from me. My hodl wallet wont be touched for years unless its a deposit. I started trading with 20K Bytecoin I mined over a year ago. I try my best to keep up with news, tech and trade 3-4 times/day IF time allows. Below is result of a few months. Not much to show, no sleep was lost AND I LEARNED MORE THAN I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED through research. Knowledge was payday #1.

I see it as hobby first. For sanity.
